All Bets Are Off as CuervoGames National Finals Takes Over Las Vegas

After nearly a year of sweat, tears and tequila, it all comes down to one weekend as the CuervoGames National Finals go live in Las Vegas on Oct. 30, just in time for Halloween. Jose Cuervo, the world’s oldest and best-selling tequila, hosts the ultimate weekend-long blowout as CuervoGames, the brand’s largest experiential marketing campaign in more than a decade, concludes its inaugural national tour.

The finalist teams, comprised of the winning team from each of the regional CuervoGames events (excluding California events due to state laws), will arrive on the Vegas Strip ready for a weekend of grueling competition and blockbuster parties with one goal in mind: take home the ultimate title of CuervoGames Champion. The winning team will also win a personalized batch of Jose Cuervo tequila and an all-expenses-paid weeklong visit to Mexico and Jose Cuervo’s storied distillery.

The National Finals will include both original and intense new CuervoGames competitions plus everything for which Las Vegas is known — elaborate pool parties, performances by nationally acclaimed talent, dinners and late-night parties at Las Vegas’ top nightclubs — all cued by Cuervo. All consumers in attendance will be privy to an epic, yet responsible VIP experience, and Jose Cuervo will be reminding attendees throughout the weekend to always drink responsibly.

“While we’ll be crowning one team as CuervoGames Champions, the hundreds of thousands of consumers we’ve reached throughout the tour have all been winners by experiencing such epic, intense events and entertainment,” said Ami-Lynn Bakshi, VP Tequila Marketing, Diageo. “With that said, it’s the thousands of fans at CuervoGames National Finals that are in for the real treat — this will be one weekend-long party people will be talking about for a long time.”

“Throughout the national tour, CuervoGames has stood for extreme competition followed by intense celebration,” said Brian Radics, Senior Brand Director, Jose Cuervo. “The National Finals will combine the year’s most extreme competition with the most intense celebration, however it is important to note that our competitors and fans will be enjoying themselves responsibly. All of our events are located within one hotel footprint, which significantly helps our consumers conclude each night of celebration responsibly and safely.”

Following an extensive 14 city tour, CuervoGames will have tested the skills of thousands of Cuervo fans through competitions derived from the brand’s rich Mexican heritage. Every market — including Orlando, Tempe, Ariz., San Diego, Denver, Minneapolis, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, Atlanta, Baltimore, Santa Barbara, Calif., Champaign, Ill., West Palm Beach, Fla., and Austin, Tex.– has brought consumers closer to the long-standing tradition of Jose Cuervo through competition and celebration.

Back by popular demand, Jabbawockeez, the world-famous dance crew, will premiere its groundbreaking show “MÜS.I.C.,” at Monte Carlo Resort and Casino on Friday, Oct. 22. Tickets priced at $79, $59 and $49, not including applicable service charges and taxes, are on sale and are available at any Monte Carlo box office outlet.
